My name is Russell Brown and I devised, researched and created this site. I did this because I have long been fascinated by the Beaumont Children disappearance and I thought there should be a site on the internet devoted to it. If you know anything about the case that is not mentioned on this website, please let me know. I also welcome general feedback, criticisms and questions. The only questions I won’t try to answer are the ones where the answers can already be found on this site.
So why aren’t there more pictures on the site? I am asked this a lot and the reason is quite simple. Pictures are very expensive. There are at least three professional picture archives which have the sorts of pictures that I would love to use on the site. Unfortunately the license to use even one picture is more than I really want to pay. That’s fair, because the pictures were taken by professionals working for news organisations and they have the right to make money, but it’s also the reason I don’t have more pictures on the site.
Please note that I DO NOT want to hear from you if you had a psychic vision of what happened to the children, or if you had a dream that you think shows what happened to them. Since the involvement of Gerard Croiset in the case there have been hundreds of people claiming psychic knowledge. There is no consistency in the accounts given and there is not a shred of evidence that any professed "psychic" who had taken an interest in the case knows what they are talking about. The psychics are no better than hoaxers, one of whom I have fallen victim to in the past. Anybody with genuine information about the case should contact South Australia Police.
